Tessa is really excited to be the patron of Childaid To Eastern Europe which helps children in Ukraine, Belarus and the Republic of Moldova. They are countries that are often overlooked in our mainstream press and where child poverty is a systemic problem.

Her first major fundraising effort involved taking a group of south London school children up one of Scotland’s highest mountains in April 2018.

With the weather against us the day before our challenge we knew that Ben Lawers was too much of risk, that left a choice between iconic Scottish mountain Schiehallion or a smaller local hill Beinn a Chuallaich
